We were recently blessed with 3 baby showers to help us get ready for Caroline's arrival by our friends and family. The first one was in Fairhope and was given by my friends Katina and Margaret. Both of our moms and grandmothers were able to come and about 8 of my other friends here in town. Then we had a shower the next weekend in Clinton given by Molly Parks, Barbara Selby, and Pam Wardlaw. We had a wonderful turnout - lots of our moms' friends and other family members were able to come as well as some of my friends from home. The following day, Robert's dad's side of the family gave us a family shower. It was nice to get to see that part of his family all together. We got so many wonderful gifts from all of these showers and were are grateful to everyone for being so kind and generous to us during such a special time in our lives. Now Caroline's room is all fixed up. The only thing missing is her! You can see pictures from the Fairhope and Clinton showers if you click on the Shutterfly link in the left toolbar. Our doctor has scheduled me to be induced on Wednesday, April 9th, unless she decides to come on her own time (which would be just fine by me!). So please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that everything goes well and she gets here healthy and happy. Hopefully the next posting will be with all the details about her arrival!
