Erhmagerd.........!  I read an article earlier today that is "ranting" about the Duck Dynasty people. Ok, first of all, I do not watch that show. I've seen one episode and it's just dumb.  But - those people seem like good people, living their daily lives, being Christians, and yes, I'm sure "acting" some of their scenarios for the sake of good television.  But this article was discussing the "horrible past" lives of some of the family members.  One of them was a drug addict/alocholic.  GASP! "But now he claims he is a Christian."  I'M SORRY?!?!  Isn't that what being a Christian is about?? Finding Christ and being forgiven for your past sins?????  And also being forgiven for sins you commit daily? Because we all do it, every single day. And THEN it said that Miss Kay and the husband (I don't know their names) had been separated at one point in their marriage. GASP!!!!  And that one of the sons is not on the show because he deals with manic/depressive issues.  GASP!!!  But the article is claiming that A&E is considering cutting off the show due to "past sins coming to light."    Oh. My. Word. I do not understand the logic of some people....... How on God's green earth is someone having depression, being separated and working it out, or being a previous alcoholic deem them unworthy of a reality show? Kinda sounds like the CELEBRITIES that we watch on their reality shows who just flaunt their insanities...... But you have a family who has overcome their flaws and moved on and doesn't wish to linger on them, and all of a sudden they're wrong for it??????  Erhmagerd......... I cannot deal with stupid people.  I just can't.  Mindy, I need my journal.......
Ok, now my next observation is the new fad of the tunic tops. Ok ladies - let's get this straight. Tunics are meant to be worn with tights, leggings, or some such full leg covering. I am rather tired of seeing these girls who have legs that don't quit wearing "dresses" that literally would rise above their ass cheeks if they put their arms above their head or leaned over to pick something up.  Tunics are NOT dresses!!!!!  I do not care how tiny, skinny, short, or perfectly sculpted you are - I do not - DO NOT- want to see your nether-regions. Ever. Do you not get cold? Is there not a draft up there? Are you trying to air something out?  I mean, really.  Whatever your reasoning is, just do us all a favor and put on some freakin' tights. Thanks.
I love fall weather.  It is absolutely my favorite time of the year.  It is the time of year that always makes me wish I lived in the middle of the U.S. somewhere.  I don't want to live too far north because I truly hate super cold weather for too long.  But in the south we just don't have a fall.  It goes from hot as hell to freezing cold within just a few weeks it seems.  Fall literally lasts about a month and then it's gone.  I wish it stuck around for 3-4 months like it does in other regions.  When I'm old, I want to be a 'Fall Bird' instead of a 'Snow Bird' as they're called.   I'll escape the south from August to November and then head back down to avoid the below freezing temps.  Yep.  That's what I'll do.  Just gotta find that RV I've been looking for.  Anybody want to give one away? I'll take it off your hands.  :-)
