Wow, the first week is actually over. Caroline had many visitors in the hospital and here at home. Thank you to everyone who called and wished us well. Lyda Sue, Papoo, Mamaw, GranMary, Nanny, Papaw Henry, and Mamaw all came to visit me at home. Lyda Sue has been with us all this week and GranMary will come next week. Aunt Lisa, Aunt Laura, Uncle Bobby, Andrew, Hayley, Hannah, Madeline, Sarah, and Jack all came to see Caroline over the weekend. It was a full house!On Monday, April 14th we had our first doctor's visit and Caroline was already back up to her birth weight, a whole week early! We have had a bit of tummy problems, but nothing unusual and the doctor said it would pass soon. On the same day, Caroline had her first "outing" when we ate lunch at Panini Pete's, our favorite restaurant in Fairhope. Caroline slept the whole time in her seat before she smelled the good stuff and got hungry.
Today, we went to the Eastern Shore Centre (mall) for Caroline's first shopping experience. She loves riding in her car seat and stroller and made lots of friends at the Pottery Barn. Luckily she doesn't have a charge card yet!
