We just returned yesterday from our latest trip. We went to Auburn so that Robert could finish his first summer semester and take his Comps for grad school. He had class every day from 8 - 3 so Caroline and I hung out in our hotel room and did a little shopping. Auburn is a cute little town. It has a downtown similar to Fairhope and lots of quaint little shops and restaurants. My uncle graduated from Auburn's vet school, so we do have a previous connection to the school. We walked around campus and took some pictures to show my grandparents. But let me tell you - Auburn was built on a MOUNTAIN! I thought I was going to pass out before I made it back to my car because of all the hills on this campus! And of course, halfway back to the car, Caroline decides she's tired of the stroller and wants me to hold her. Go figure! We had a great time, though - sweat and all. Robert did well on his comps and is relieved that they're over. Just one more set of classes for 4 weeks and he's done! Since we're doing so much traveling we left Lucy in Clinton with Robert's mom. We miss her lots, but we know she's well taken care of. Thank you, Mary! We'll get her back in 2 weeks. We leave for Disney World Saturday morning, so we're back on the road again....
More pics on shutterfly so check it out!
