We had an awesome time in Disney last week! My parents rented a house for us to stay in about 20 minutes from the parks and it was great. Everyone had their own space which was nice with 16 people. All the kids were so cute and seemed to really have a blast. Caroline was the BEST baby on the trip. She hardly ever made a peep unless she was hungry or sleepy. She rode in her stroller just like a big girl and got to ride all the boat rides and see all the shows. She was mesmerized by all of the lights and characters, but of course she didn't really have a clue what was going on. It rained a couple of afternoons while we were there, but other than that it was quite nice weather. Not nearly as hot as we were expecting it to be. And so many rides now are inside with air conditioning so we were able to get out of the heat pretty often. We had a really great time and can't wait to go back when Caroline is old enough to enjoy it.
This summer has definitely been busy but it's not quite over yet. We are leaving this Friday to take my nephew, Andrew, to New York City for 3 days. We'll return Monday night and then my dad has to have a 3rd ankle surgery Tuesday morning. Our wild & crazy summer is almost over though. School will be starting before we know it....
