Well there's excitement in our house - Robert just graduated from Auburn with his Masters! He finished with a great GPA and we're really proud of him. He's really excited and glad to be finished with homework! And he's really excited about his graduation present - a new iPhone! But it took 10 days for it to come in after my parents ordered it, which was a LONG 10 days for him. But it's finally here, and he's like a kid in a candy shop! It's amazing what all the new technology is capable of these days...
Caroline is doing great. Check out shutterfly for a few new pics. She turned 4 months old yesterday. She's growing bigger every day and I want her to slow it down! She has figured out that she can talk and she'll start babbling and cooing just to hear herself. Her jungle gym is her favorite toy (thank you Aunt Leslie!) and she'll play in it forever! Which is great for me sometimes so I can get some things done around the house. She's such a good baby. She's eating great and sleeping well. She started sleeping in her big bed in her own room last Wednesday. She's done really good so far. She usually starts squirming around 3 or 4 a.m. and wants her paci b/c she can't quite find it by herself yet. But once I put it back in her mouth she goes right back to sleep for several more hours. And she is the sweetest, cutest baby when she first wakes up. I get right in her face and give her kisses and she puts both of her little hands on either side of my face and grins so big... it melts my heart! She loves to give big, wide-mouthed kisses right back. Really I think she just wants to chew on my face, but I'll take it. :-) So we've been home for 2 straight weeks and it's great! Band camp's finally over and they're doing great so far - definitely a lot of potential for this season. School starts officially with kids on Monday so it's back to the daily grind - which, given this wild and crazy summer, will seem like a vacation...
